Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Luckyscope (“Luckyscope,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Luckyscope mobile application (the “App”). We built Luckyscope to be simple and private: there are no accounts, and we do not ask you for personal information.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
None. The App has no sign-up, account, or login, and we do not collect your name, email, or contact details through the App.
Information stored on your device
To make the App work, we store small preferences locally on your device (using the operating system’s standard local storage). This may include your selected zodiac sign, your charm-meter progress, sound and other settings, and whether you’ve unlocked tomorrow’s reading. This information stays on your device, is accessible only to the App, and is removed when you delete the App.
Information collected automatically through advertising
Luckyscope shows ads using Google AdMob. To serve, cap, and measure ads — and, with your permission, to personalize them — Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, such as a device advertising identifier (for example, Apple’s IDFA), IP address, general (coarse) location, device and app information, and ad-interaction data. This collection is performed by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google’s policies (see “Advertising” below).
2. How we use information
- To provide and operate the App and remember your preferences;
- To display advertising, including optional rewarded ads you can watch to unlock content;
- To keep the App working reliably and improve the experience.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Advertising
The App uses Google AdMob to deliver ads. Depending on your choices and region:
- App Tracking Transparency (iOS). On first launch we ask, through Apple’s standard prompt, whether you allow tracking. If you decline, ads are not personalized using cross-app/website tracking.
- Consent (EEA, UK, and similar regions). Where required, we present a Google-certified consent message (via Google’s User Messaging Platform) so you can make choices about personalized advertising. You can change your choice later from within the App.
- Non-personalized option. If you do not consent to or allow tracking, you may still see ads, but they will be non-personalized (contextual).
Learn more about how Google uses information: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device’s Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking and Apple Advertising.
4. Notifications
With your permission, Luckyscope may send local notifications (gentle reminders that a new scope is ready, or that your charms are running low). These are generated on your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device’s Settings.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate advertising through Google AdMob, or where required by law. Apple and Google may also process information in their roles as the app store and advertising provider, under their own privacy policies.
6. Data retention
Preferences stored on your device remain until you delete them or uninstall the App. Information processed by Google for advertising is retained according to Google’s policies.
7. Children’s privacy
Luckyscope is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will address it.
8. Your rights and choices
Because we do not maintain accounts or store your personal information on our own servers, you control your data directly:
- Reset or limit ad personalization through your device’s Settings, the in-app consent options, or your advertising identifier;
- Disable notifications in Settings;
- Delete all locally stored preferences by uninstalling the App.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to opt out of certain advertising. To exercise these rights, or for questions about advertising data held by Google, you can contact us (below) and review Google’s tools and policies.
9. International users
The App is operated from the United States. If you use the App from outside the U.S., information processed for advertising may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries by Google under appropriate safeguards.
10. Security
We rely on the security of your device’s operating system and the reputable third-party services we use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes may be highlighted in the App or on this page.
